Why have you kept a reference of “map on ring binder ++”?
Ahoy! Here's another gem from my Pinterest explorations. Ownership? Not mine. But a keen sense of style? Definitely.
Pinterest has revolutionized the way designers discover and curate ideas, making it an invaluable tool in the design process.
Using reference materials, like mood boards and look books, is essential for designers to draw inspiration and conceptualize fresh ideas. Look books and scrap books are invaluable tools for designers, offering a curated collection of inspirations and ideas that can spark creativity. In design, simplicity is the ultimate sophistication, leading to clarity and user-friendly experiences. Design is the bridge that connects a brand's vision with its audience, creating a cohesive and immersive experience. Branding differentiates, defines, and positions a company in the competitive landscape, setting it apart from its competitors. Branding is about evoking emotions, creating memories, and building relationships with consumers.
What Pinterest tells us about this image
Map drawn as a cover for a ring binder I gave my mother’s for her 50st birthday. I made the map entirely by hand and with a brand pan – normal pencils won’t stick on the plastic of the ring binder. However, the varnish reacted somehow with the ink, so down under is blurred a bit (and a bit too much). Moreover, the ring binder isn’t exactly water proof anymore, so the varnish actually counteracts the purpose of itself. 2011. – This was originally posted on Pinterest. See the original
